Sunrise Care is an innovative organisation based in Wembley, providing 24/7 support to 12 people with high and complex needs in Wembley. Our clients are adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health.

Do you have experience of supervising a small team of people?
Are you experienced in handling all aspects of medication?
Can you get on with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds?
If you can answer yes to all of the above questions, then you are the Senior Support Worker that we are looking for to join our team;
The Senior support worker will have responsibility for supervising support staff on duty
Will key work several clients and will mentor a “Co-keyworker”
The Senior Support Worker will enjoy “hands -on” work with the clients as well as extra responsibilities around report writing.
The senior support worker will take an active role in all multi-disciplinary meetings and liaising with health professionals.
Will be able to deal confidently with behaviours which may challenge.
Enjoy a person centred approach and be able work creatively with all clients.
Have experience of working with people with learning disabilities, mental health and autism.
Be fully trained and experience in handling all areas of medication.
Applicant must have the following requirements;
NVQ3 in Health and Social Care
Completed all mandatory training
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Enjoy being active and supporting people in the community
Enjoy working creatively with clients
Be able to work flexible hours including weekends, sleep-ins and waking night duties
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Hours: All shifts
Salary: From £16,640 pa, pay scales increase based on experience and qualification
