Support for Learning Disabilities and Autism
“My son Reece has been living at Sunrise Care Home for two years. Sunrise is a home from home making sure they are meeting all clients’ individual needs. The staff are very caring and always make the clients family welcoming when they come to visit their relatives. Reece has a good relationship with all the staff, but has a special bond with Martin Katongo. I have a good relationship with staff and management who always take time out to listen to any of my concerns that I may have. Senior members of staff always inform me of any changes regarding my sons care and will give me weekly updates on how my son is doing. Sunrise support the clients as well as parents ensuring they provide a high level of care and support. Sunrise is a happy and warming care home which meets my son’s needs. ”
“A residential home that feels like a home.
Our son is very well looked after and he is always happy to go back after visits out. ”

“Working at Sunrise Care has been a valuable and unforgettable experience. I spent 2 weeks as part of my work experience supporting the staff and interacting with the residents. At first, it was challenging and I was very shy to engage in the activities but after a couple of days of observing the staff, I was completely capable in my ability. My confidence grew in terms of speaking to new people and I was also able to understand how a care home operates. The best part was when the residents remembered my name and my face and I considered it an achievement as I was only there for 2 weeks! I want to thank all the staff for their generosity and I wish everyone at Sunrise Care the best of luck in the future.”
“After moving to Sunrise Care just over three years ago, my cousin's life has been transformed. He has been encouraged to realise his full potential, he has gained in confidence and has achieved a lifestyle suited to his needs. Viola House has been a lifesaver for him."

Sunrise Activity Hub Launch Day 29 August 2014
“Really enjoyed my visit to the Sunrise Activity Hub Launch Day. Very pleasing to see the excellent relationship between the special needs clients, carers and staff. A very warm and happy atmosphere generated, with clients fully engaged with the activities available to them including a newly developed sensory room".
